Quick question I have a guy who wants a bison tanned just as a show piece. Would you give it to him right from the tanner or would you wash and strech it same as a rug. Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't go through the extra effort to stretch it if he doesn't need it done. Did you ask how he intends to display it? Are you tanning it, or are you sending it out? I just got one back from Moyle tannery and would have no problem at all giving it to the customer right out of the box, it is clean and soft, really nice.
He said he wanted to use it as a blanket. Didn't ask much more then that. Could you give me a little more info on Moyle Tannery as I will be shipping out for tanning. Thanks for the help

Here's their website.
Please email the address of Tarheel Taxidermy Fleshing.....if anyone has it.
Thanks, ahead of time!
We also do bison tanning. Our hides are chrome tanned. They stand up to perspiration and moisture. The tannage will not leach out like an alum tan if the hide gets wet. We also electrify the hair, leaving it soft and shiny. Contact us, if interested:
