Smelly Skunk

Have a albino skunk to skin that has already sprayed, fresh shot. Is there any thing to soak it in before skinning to take away some of the smell before skinning? Thanks

Smeeelly Skunk, sme-lly skunk, It's noot yoour fa-ah-ault.

They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.
You may not be a bed of roses,
And you're no friend to those with noses.

You can try soaking it in lemon juics, peroxide, tomato juice, or buy some skunk kleen from WASCO. I beleive it was george that posted a good formula for this type of thing about a week ago

There is a product called Skunk Off...believe it or not, it works on skunks. The best way to use the product is to make sure you do not bathe the skunk in anything else first. If you did, it will work, but not as well. Call your local veterinarian and ask for skunk off...they sell it in differant size bottles. It neutralizes the smell. The directions are right on the bottle. Good luck.
