removal of horns?

Hi i have a couple black hawaian rams im mounting and i want to know the best way to romove the horns for preservation bvefore mounting? Boiling, burying,hanging in a tree! lol need fast reply if possible thanks David

I due it 2 ways let it sit in a plastic bag for about 2 to 3 weeks and then they should be loose twist them off. Also you can put them in water and let it rot then due the same just twist off. The inside of the horn will stink so I fill it with lacqure(sp?) thinner let sit for 1 hour dump it out and dry with air hose then spray inside of horn with kilzit in a spray can.

Boil them till they come off and then pack the inside of the horn with Borax.

I dont know how big your horns are but I have removed pronghorns thia way before. Give them 2-4 minutes jerk and serve.

It is nice method to remove argali's horns to Boil them. After seperating, the horns is easy shrank.It should be wear on time.
