Fox earliners

Hey all, I am getting ready to mount my first fox. I have bought the Actual Ears Mammal earliners in the McKenzie catalog. Do I need to cut out foam in the head for the ears to sit down lower? Also on relief cuts, do I cut them under each armpit area? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance......Travis

Relief cuts..

I don't know about the ears. I would make the relief cuts and fill them with clay and if you need them tuck the skin but if you don't, don't. It's better to have them if you need them. It probably would depend on the pose also. Good luck

i prefer to notch out where the ears are going sit,i know the actual ears are suposed to fit the contour of the head, but they seen to stick out to far.notch out and use clay to fill in and i think you will be better off.
