Mounting my first fox of my own. It is in the tan right now. Wondering of what precautions to take with the skin when I get ready to mount. I am afraid of handling it too much for fear of slippage. Tanned with E-Z100 and will oil with the Pro Plus oil. I will be using plastic earliners. Wondering if i should use hide paste or I have heard of using bondo as an adhesive, but that seems a little shallow to me. I am just afraid of slippage on the ears. Any suggetions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Travis

if tanned properly, you shouldnt have problems with slippage. although you may want to handle them carefully, im not sure why people use bondo on earliners as adhesive, maybe it has holding properties, but why would you want to defeat the purpose of the ear liner? ear liners will give a nice smooth thin ear with crisp edges,if used properly with a good adhesive, i use the 2 part epoxie type which you can apply very thin and evenly and get 0 drumming.
just my opinion, you may find a methode that will work better for you, good luck
