i took in a badger today, and not looking forward to it. the thing is covered in cockle burrs, at least 200...no joke. and most of the burrs have turned into dirt clots, like dread locks. any ideas on how to get these suckers out. ive done a few, but damn, it took me a couple minutes for each. anybody got some kind magic trip to make them disapear.

I know when my cat had those things all thru her fur I put her in the kitchen sink and used the spray hose and a medium toothed comb. It still took some time, but it seemed to work a lot better when the fur was all wet, and boy my cat didnt like it too much. good thing that sucker is dead.
