can anyone give me some helpful advice on skinning a coyotes foot and keep the claws in. i have a coyote to make a rug with but i dont know how to skin the foot properly to keep the claws on the hide.

WORK DOWN TO THE ANKLE. CUT THE ANKLE BONE WITH A STRONG PRUNING SHEARS. THEN WORK OFF THE SKIN ALL THE WAY TO THE TOE BONES. YOU CAN EASILY CUTE THE TOE BONES AND LEAVE THEM WITH THE HIDE. I USE A SMALLER PRUNING SHEARS HERE. HOPE THIS HELPS GET YOU STARTED, PRACTICE WILL MAKE YOU PERFECT. ALL THE BEST
