have a laying coyote form that is too long - all other measurments are okay - is it okay to take the extra out of the center of the form then bondo back together

when you cut out a piece don't bondo it together
right away. when the form is cut in half it makes it
easier to mount so I'd wait untill its mounted then
bondo it together.
