Quite frankly I`m not real fond of the pose but my wife made that decision...she`s seen almost 200 bobcats leave this house and I told her she could have this one since it had white feet..anywho I`m still fighting this new camera and trying to figure it out but I think the picts are good enough for a quick look...you`ll probably find some of the same things wrong on this cat as you did the lynx...bad habits are hard to break...Give me your opinions...Thanks...
I personally think the ears should have been laid back a touch since I gave him that stare down look, but once again the wife called the shots on the particulars...:)...Thanks guys

I think you both did a great job. Where is it from? It seems to have much shorter hair than the ones I usually see. Once again, looks terrific.
You will have a great time. Man you have done a lot of cats 200 i bet i haven't done half that.they sure are fun.
GOOD LUCK!
Are you comming down? If so maybe you could come down for a elk steak supper friday night. I only live 15 miles from the hotel...
I`ve saved my yellow copies of my fur dealer books and for the last 4 years and have close to 200 cats logged..they are all gone but 10...:)...Let me know on the supper...
Scott---I caught that cat here in KS season before last...caught him the first week of season(Nov)...your right he wasn`t heavily furred yet...He about got me that morning. I walked up on him with low batteries in my flashlight. I had him a 6 foot snare---stink`n thing leaped at me and missed me with his claws by about 2 inches...scared the bejeebers out of me..between the scream, my scream, and his paws I about lost it...lol
Here, kitty-kitty-kitty!...LOL -Susan
bullets started flying...LOL...
the only thing I would add is that cats that I have watched usually don't step down between rocks when walking. They either pick a path through/between them if the rocks are big, or they walk on the tops of them when the rocks are the size of the ones in your mount. I would only suggest that the forward-most rear foot be placed on the top of the rock directly behind it. This would require that the leg would be bent and this adds more difficulty and work, but I think from the cats I have watched in the field, this would be a more accurate walking pose. Again...nice work!
I've not seen one with white toes like that!
Wow. Extremely lifelike. You know what your doing.
