in the 50-55lb. area.
Tom
You can't be sure by measurements. I have had alot of coyotes with the same size range from 35-50 lbs. So, unfortunately, there is no way that is set in stone.
One male I got in this yr. w/ about the same measurements, maybe even alittle smaller. it only weighed 38lb.
I was roughly estimating the wieght at 35 - 40 pounds, to bad I did not have a scale to wiegh it.
Heavier wrist, larger limbs, so that first estimate from Tom works in this area. Come to think of it, Tom is from my state. The biggest coyote I KNOW the weight of, that I handled was 59 lbs certified. Ive caught them up to 50 lbs and that seemed big.
Mine is from California
Weighed on certified scale at 41. something pounds. Pennsylvania coyote from Potter county. I would estimate that most coyotes in this size range are 38-45 pounds.
19 x 39- thats a long skinny coyote! Should be at least 22 for the nose to base of tail. Usually a 19 girth is about 33-34 nose to base of tail.
