Just looking through this web site and found info about black foxes.
I currently have at least three black foxes visiting my house on a daily basis. I also see many red foxes. The black ones seem to be much smaller. I have numerous pictures if any one is interested.

The Black Fox your seeing, or what they're usually called is the silver fox. It's just the melinistic phase of the red fox. They raise a lot of these fox's on ranches for their fur, which is more of a wanted fur and more valuable fur than just the plain red.
