Coon Legs

I ordered the raccoon form #BK-01348736 from Van Dykes 2003-2004 catalogue page 120. It"s a standing form with its hind legs against its body. My question is how do I sew its hind legs when I can"t even fit the skin around them? It"s like trying to put on pants when you are a mermaid. Am I supposed to cut the foam between the legs then to make room for the skin; or is there some sewing trick I don"t know about?
Hope you understand what I"m trying to say if not, say so and I"ll try to explain again, thanks.

You have to make your tuck slots, once you make the proper tucks slots and some glue the skin should taxi around the form -if the form is the right size
