YOu take and cut the neck off, remove a wedge from one half of the neck and glue it on to the other side and replace the head. It will give it a nice turn without lengthening the neck.
Stick a wire straight down through the top of the head. Remove it and make your first cut right under the chin. Then cut thin wafers (no more than 1/4 inch) all the way down to the shoulder line. Reinsert your wire through the head and thread the wafers back on as they came off. Then stick the wire back in the mannikin. Twist the head and the wafers in a staggered stack until you get the pose you want. Take a magic marker and draw a vertical line across two sides of the wafers for index marks. Remove your wire and glue your wafers down by the index marks OR use a slow setting epoxy and "butter" both sides of the wafers, rethread them and install them on the cat until they set. Foam if necessary, file and sand to contour.
