It all Depends on The QUALITY

That went into the pieces.
We have all seen Bad taxidermy work & obviosly it isnt worth very much.

Do this & it should give you a honest idea for yourself.

What kind of a ribbon would you get if you took both animals to a Taxidermy Competition & entered them in the PROFFESSIONAL Division.

Larry Bloomquist told me one time that Standard customer work should be able to at least score a second place in pro Div.

Take your mounting price of the animal ( My price for Kudu Shoulder mount is $950 ). What size horns ?
If I scored a blue in Pro Div with it, I wouldnt ask any less than $1500. If it scored a second $1000.
If it scored a third Sell it for mounting price & get rid of it.

Alot of people look at taxidermy from the horn bases up, so unfortunatly they dont understand what it takes to make a quality mount.
In the case of a NON Quality mount.I feel that the mount is only worth the value of the horns, & in most cases that is only $100. or less.

Be honest with your opinion of your own work & you will have a good idea of what it should sell for.

Just my opinion but you asked.

hard to price a mount without seeing it, too many variables. i have seen some beautiful specimans destroyed by bad taxidermists and on the flip side i have seen blue ribbon mounts i wish i could do. price reflects workmanship.
