How do you remove a strong musty-storage smell from a mink cape? I don't want to send it to be cleaned (too expensive) but the smell is too strong to allow you to wear the cape. Fur is in good condition and lining is clean but the cape just stinks! It is a 1930's short cape made of brown mink. Any tips greatly appreicated. Cape is needed for an 18th century costume.
