I am going to do my first coyote rug soon. I have skinned out a coyote and prepped it to tan. I have never done one but I do have a fairly good idea on what to do, since I have mounted many other animals before. I was wondering what materials I would need and how would I go about attaching felt to the bottom? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Chris you need a head form, eyes, jaw set if open mouth, quilt batting or carpet padding to back it and your felt. Some people use a glue gun to attach felt and padding I personally hand sew all of mine. It's just personal preference, either will work.
When sewing the felt to the skin, do I do one stitch all the way around the skin? Also, wouldn't stitching be much more time consuming and a hassle then glueing? Thanks for the input!
