I have decided to tan my squirrels and other sm mammals with lutan-f as i seen John Bellucci do in a video but I want to dry preserve my tails individualy how do you smoothly attach the tails to the body at time of mounting as the skin on back of tail always puckers up?Thanks for info.

first measure the length of the tail, then measure the wire your gonna use for the tail. next make a kink in the wire maybe a 1/2" longer than the actual tail. this kink will stop the tail from being pushed in to far. then once on the manakin add clay over the top to make a smooth juncture from body to tail.
