i degrease all my fox and coyote. use kemal 4 for about 1/2, it is a good practice to get into even if you dont think it needs it. i have skinned some red fox that had as much fat as a coon.

I like to use a degreaser such as Tannery Degreaser for all my canines. Not only does it eliminate any grease it helps eliminate odors. Something else I have been using is acid bate in my pickle for fox and coyote this seems to help on shaving.

I would NEVER not degrease them

I too use Tannery Degreaser, and have also had good luck with Bruce Rittels products too. I have yet to mount a fox that didnt need degreasing. You can see it, smell it and feel it. Im with Gary and Wildwood on this one...

Thanks
