Since we were talking about the "cast lip" heads,I was wodering if anybody has tried the new Mohr Slimline Jawsets.McKenzie just started selling these. These new jawsets have slimmer gums so they fit in heads better, have full throats and most have hinge points so they open and close like the real thing. They also open wider than the originals and can close completely down for a clenched teeth look. They also have all new, more realistic tongues and detailed paint.Positions with these jaws are almost endless. No more cutting down jawsets to get them to fit in heads or to cange the position of the jaws.If you do any open mouth work you should definitely check these out.

Besides trying to sell for McKenxie, is there any point to this post?
The point is that these new jaws are better than the old ones that many of us have griped about over the years and are far easier to use.I have been using them for a couple years and they work better than any that have been available to us yet. These are Mohr jaws, not McKenzie and haven't been advertised to date.Research also handles them. The reason I mentioned McKenzie is that their pictures and list of the jaws is easier to understand.Sorry,I don't own any stock in McKenzie or Mohr but thought that some other taxidermists might be interested in a product that would save time and help us produce a better product.
