A guy I have done a few mounts for shot a 275pound hog on Sat. He is so proud of this thing and wanted it shoulder mounted. He was afraid of messing it up by cleaning it, so he brings me the whole hog! Says for me to take what I need and just give him the rest when I am done. I am still laughing over this!

If they want me to be a taxidermist AND a butcher, I can be both but each carries its own price tag. I don't buy into sob stories anymore.
My husband took him to our skinning rack, cleaned the hog for him and got me what I needed to mount it. I would NOT do this for everyone. This guy has sent me alot of customers and truly didnt have a clue. You can believe when I AM getting paid for that skinning job!
