I was wondering if it would be easier to use one of the fake noses for a bear mount or to use the real nose? I went to school for taxidermy and finished in July, the guy that taught us there used the fake ones for his mounts. I just got my first bear in yesterday and was wondering if anyone had some advice about this. Which is better/easier, and looks the best. Thanks for any help.

i like the real nose and shape the inside with clay, keep checking on it as it drys. this way you dont have the extra time of putting one on the form and having to mess with getting a good match where the nose meets the hide.
