when mounting a squirrel on a wrapped body using the skull, i know i need to split the lips but how do you finish them? i dont think that they will tuck into the mache lip line that will be created rebuilding the skull so what do i do to tuck them? do you just trim them short and glue? yes i clicked the orange button.

Notch the skull?

I don't know how you prepped the skull, but I want to see where you would notch it. If you have used the skull, you can use critter clay or Magic-Sculpt to form out the head. The lips are attached to the lower mandible on the bottom and rolled and tucked around some clay on the top.....do it right and all you need to do is pin it until it dries. Do it wrong and fix it with CA and Apoxie sculpt and a little paint.
