I was just wondering how to go about stretching and drying out a hide so I could hang it on my wall? I'm interested in possibly doing a coon first then maybe something a little bigger.

of course you want to skinn it and try and cut some off the bigger chunks off if you have any after a while you wont. I always flesh them with our fleshing machien (cant spell still and im in 7th grade!)
after that salt EVER corner of it and an hour later do that THERALLLLY again and let set for a day then come back and pickle it (take out and wrape in towel)and flesh agian. then put some type of degreaser in it and let set for about ehhh 2 3 day or more. still keep hp level between 1 and 1.5. then role pelt in towel for a few minuts oil ,tan , next day or after dry strech out itll look just fine
