Does the Cabela's Squirrel Mounting Kit include the chemicals i need to tan the skin before mounting it? It's 18$ and i can get a climbing sqruirrel or sitting squirrel. I'm not going to get it if it doen't come with the chemicals i need.

Cabela's owns Van Dyke's Taxidermy Supply Company.
The squirrel mounting kits are the same. They include: (sic)body (mannikin),eyes,needle, thread,wire, preservative, tail material, and complete instructions. The process is DP, and not tanning, but there are probably a zillion DP mounted squirrels sitting around gathering dust. For a first effort, the kit would be fine.
