cats and foxes are very difficult to get into live traps. snares and foot holds are bout the best way to handle these critters. Not saying it cant be done, just rare to see.

Hello,have you tried asking on trapperman.com,lots of trappers,all willing to answer your questions,there are a few cage trappers on there who do well.

born and raised in montana and never heard or seen a cat fall to a live trap. sorry. grap it by the foot or the neck bro.

I know a guy in Texas who catches 60-70 cats a year in live traps. The bigger the trap the better. His traps are at least 16x20x48 with live bait boxs attached. He uses red roosters for live bait. I myself have caught 9 cats in one winter using guienes for live bait. Set them on cat sign and you`ll be suprised the number of cats you`ll catch.
