i want to dye a hide, do i dye it after skining and tanningor be fore, it for a mount. thanks.

On dying

You dye it after the process. The trick is finding the right mordant. There are some good forums and web sites pertaining to the leather and fur goods industry. some go into great detail about the dye processes. I suggest you search some of them out before proceeding. It may be best to have it dyed by a commercial operation that specializes in the process. Some furs can be tricky.
