I am taking on my first black bear rug. I have done mostly deer shoulder mounts. Is there anything I should know or is it basically the same tanning process and what not? Please help with any information. Thanks

What I do is have it comericial tanned then wet the head and mount it on a rug shell. then send it to a rugging company Like B J.s rugmaking and when it comes back I do the finish work and call the customer.
