Albino fox question

I was wondering if anyone can give me some assistance. I am a trapper and caught an albino fox yesterday. The problem is that the last 3 or 4 inches of the tail is bare from mange. The rest of he tail and the body are in excellent shape. This is a once in a lifetime catch and want to get it mounted. I have been trying to come up with solutions for the tail. Could a taxidermist use an artic fox tail, could you bleach a red fox tail to match, could you cut the end off of the existing tail and just make it shorter, is there a form for a mount that would hide the end of the tail? Please help as I am extremely excited about this fox and want to proudly display it. It has taken me 29 years to catch an albino fox. Please email me at themillers@pa.net as I do not check with this forum on a regular basis. Thanks for all your help. Jeff

Arctic fox would work for the tip

The fur is denser, but it would work if your fox is indeed snow white. I had an arctic fox tail here that layed around for the past ten years or so until my grandson talked me out of it last spring. Moscow hide and fur sells white ranch fox tails for $10.....1-208-882-0601 or www.hideandfur.com.

Good luck
