I am going to mount my first bear tomorrow and have the hide all prefit. I do not have any earliners yet though. I know for some of the smaller eared mammals I have done I have not used any earliners, just bondo. What do you suggest for bear and if you use earliners what do you use. I was thinking that chipboard would work? THanks for your reply.

Bondo works great for bear ears - I would recommend it over earliners.
