Holy Crap! Which taxidermist approved this?

Im not a "know it all" by any stretch of the imagination, but I suggest to my customers that they not drag their trophy at all. I stumbled on to this today while researching deer septum on the internet. Just couldn't imagine this being "taxidermist approved".

yup, yup, yup just wait until someone rip the nose out on a big buck. It workds for small deer but I would never hook one up to a big northern buck.

I guess

That now I can retire my rope and stick......I don't know about all soils and all deer, but you don't have to drag any deer too far to rub it slick on the down side, regardless of size......You sure wouldn't do any life size deer that had been drug for any distance.

I am not sure that device would wreck a deer, because that is some pretty tough tissue on the snort end, but wouldn't want to be the one who found out that it would.

Another day, another device to make a buck from deer hunters....besides, who has friends to help drag a deer out of the woods anyway?

Turn the deer around, facing your car and you won't have to drag it backwards.

Step 3 . rip poor moo moos face right off when he hangs up on a log
optional step . wounder how your deer escaped and replaced his body with a large hunk of bloody meat .

Heck you might as well have shot the deer with a bazooka or something he's probably going to hurt worse with that hook shoved through his skull. That's hilarious.

If I'm not mistaken by the time you hook it into the deer's nose I'm pretty sure that the deer is not going to feel it, but then again you might know more about what you feel after being dead.

As far as the product goes it works on the same principle as a ring in a bull or hogs nose, it's not going to tear and from (more) reading in this site any issues with the nose can be fixed.

As for pulling a trophy deer. I agree even I would not want to use it just for the fact that I wouldn't want anything happening to it.

But in the case of anything else it's a great product if you can't get your 4 wheeler back into the woods or if your by yourself. Making it easier to pull out of the woods.

But if all your hung up on is this statement "Taxidermist Approved". Then your post was rather useless.

(Now flame away)
