hey i need to know how to make the raccoon fur soft. ive skinned it, salted it and its been drying for a week, how do i make it soft and what else do i have to do?

Salt will only preserve it and it will stay stiff.
I suggest you re-hydrate it and tan it instead of just using salt.
how do i rehydrate it? i put the salt on it to keep the rats away
