I use Dawn to degrease, and don't see any reason to use anything else. Soak in a strong Dawn solution for 1-2 hours, scrub, and then rinse and bleach. After bleaching, rinse and repeat Dawn soak then rinse and dry.....Works for me.
if you boiled it, before you degreased, which is about the only way you can do it, you might have and prolly did set some grease stains in to the bone and they might not come out.
