I really want to enter the into the "PA Sportsman Show" taxidermy competion, but I'm not sure my mounting skills are "up to par" yet? I'd be going in as an amature. Can you guys take a look and tell me what you think? I would really appreicate it.

Lou,
Looks like an alright job. I would take it to the show reguardless. The whole idea of the shows are to get some advice on what is right and wrong with your piece. That is how you learn to do better work...Constructive criticism(spelling?) I would take it and see how you do. Just my opinion.
Why not put it in the pro? The amature category will net an easy appraisal of your work. A judge will take in consideration your status. If you put it in the pro the judge will bring out things he would never have otherwise. The more things brought to your attention the less you get dinged on the next time you show. What really do you have to lose? What do you have to gain? Just something you might want to consider. Either way, Good luck!
there will be some professional work at that show that is not as good as yours is. It's impossible to evaluate everything from a couple of pictures. Work on eyelid shape and ear placement. also study the hair patterns and grooming around the face. The front corners of the eyes could have been deeper. The pupils should cant inward 10 degrees at the top. Let the upper eyelids cover some of the pupil. I agree with JD. Put it in pro.
It not too bad. I would put in in the pro division. I would make one suggestion. Back comb the hell out of it and fluff the hair. You have the hair all combed down. Back comb the S**t out of it and give it some lift. The tail needs to be combed too.

is not correct - they are open too much - something is wrong with ears but cant identify by pic angles - i would enter it it is generally VERY GOOD
For sure you should enter it as pro. You did a good job, it's a beautiful fox too. There are, however, two slight mistakes. These mistakes would only be noticed by taxidermist, everyone else in the world would never notice anything wrong. The mistakes are: the ears are turned at slightly different angles, one is stright-on, the other to the side; the eyes are open too wide, work on setting the eyelids
