can't freeze coyote/is it still ok?

Hi, I shot a coyote last night at this time, and per my taxidermist's instructions, left it whole. I am unable to freeze it, as it is too big to fit, and cannot get a hold of him today. Will the coyote be ok until I can take him to the taxidermist tomorrow? He is out in my garage on the cold, cold floor. (it has been in the low 40's/upper 30's since he was shot) If not, what do I do? Thanks,
Diana

I would wrap it in a garbage sack and put it in a cooler with some ice. That will keep it cold and easy to transport when you take it to the taxi.

IF you don't..

Have a cooler, try to at least hang him upside down. Just wrap a rope around his back legs (do not get it too tight, just tight enough to hold him) and hang him from a rafter, or eye hook in the garage. Place a pan under his head to catch any blood. Should be fine.
