Does anyone have a method of keeping paint off the teeth and gums when finishing inside of open mouth bear?

I use the Buckeye jaw cup, already finished befor you mount it. just finish the seam and you're done. No overspray.

Can't think who sells it, but I have it. Would that not work on the on the teeth and gums, too? Paint on. peel off? Try it on a small spot on the bottom, if it doesn't come off, nobody can tell, so you have't messed it up.
Or what about a thin coat of vaseline, then just wipe off.

"Mold builder" or liquid latex. I agree with O.F though.

All of the above are good advice.I have used the Buckeye mouth cups a lot and now use the McKenzie "cast lip heads" and don't have to mask anything.
