dry lips and ears on bobcat

I skinned a bobcat and went to turn his lips and ears it was to dry in these areas to cut all the way to the edge. was wondering how I should rehydrate these areas so I can turn all the way.

bill mostly use stop rot or you can use alittel of salt and water mix that work well
