has anyone ever tried floor dry for media in a tumbler for mammals? i have been using corn cob grit but someone told me that the floor dry is much cheaper and just as good.
any one agree or disagree?

Now that would be a big mistake. Floor dry or "Speedy Dry" is kaolin base and that clay would make a big mess. If you're talking of sweeping compound, that contains too much oil and would never dry your hides.
