I would like to know how you would skin an animal from the back. The mount that I want to do for a bobcat seems impossible to sew from the belly side. so I would think that the only other option would be to go in reverse (sorta)(i think!)lol.

I would say dorsal which is done by making an incision down the back of the cat I usually start the cut about half way down the back and stop about 2" from the tail, it doesn't need to be a very long cut to skin it out, spread the fur when you cut so you dont cut any.
