Slipping tails

Hello all. Just wondering what you guys used for slipping tails. I did a search and seen some unique stuff used. Just thought i would throw my method out there for some one to try. I use a hitch-pin.
You just find the one you need for relative size of the critter, slip in on into the middle indention and pull. It allows you to get a good grasp on the pin to apply pressure.

Total cost for tool: about $2

Time saved from splitting: priceless

LOL, hope this helps someone.

Trailor hitch pins. You take and slip it over the bone in the tail and hold the body with one hand while pulling the pin with the other. Works pretty good.
