I just tanned a fox hide and put it on a strecher to dry...I took it off a few days ag and notice it is still greasy....Heck i washed it 2 x.....onnce in Kemal 4 and basycril NB-KU and again in Dawn. Well now it is tanned...id their anything I can do to save it?

And believing it. Kemal 4 is a good detergent, but if you read the label, you'll see it has a low pH. The higher the pH, the better it degreases. Wash it again with some Dawn if you DON'T have any Epo-Grip Bloodout/Degreaser or Eliminator from Van Dykes. Keep the water warm to assist you in the process.
OK...the fox hide is already tanned and dried....I didn't realize it was still greasy until after it was dried. I can still wash it and re dry it? It won't wash the tan out? I tanned it with EZ-100. Yeah i am guilty George...I didn't know that the higher PH the better it would degrease....hmmm. I learned something new today! Thanks,
