anyone got a fast way to remove fat and a little meat from fox hides! what do you think of a wire wheel type setup? i have alot of hides to do.

Foxes are a precarious animal. Greys have a thicker hide, but reds are like tissue paper. I would stick with the hand fleshing tools and scalple. It should only take about 40 minutes to do one. It may seem like a lot but the time will get shorter with repitition and the hides will be the better for it.
