Just wanted to say that I love this thing! I got it about 2 months ago and I don't know how I did without it, I can even get almost all of the facial detail except for the wisker butts, I'm working on that too though.
Just wanted to ask if others like it for small mammals, I've heard that it is not good for them but I can't see why. So far I've done red and grey foxes, beavers, coons, Opossums and Nutrias. Takes me about an hour to do one the size of say a med. coon and that includes the faces work.
Was woundering if I am slow, average or what? I know speed comes with practice and I'm not rushing to finish at the expense of a lot of holes.
thanks for any info.

Can you use the mini flesher on green hides to remove meat and fat or is it only for thinning a tanned hide? I have been using dp and have been thinking about buying one if it will help.
Thanks Stacey
I use it on hides that have either been salted and re-hydrated or been in the pickle for a day. I did use it on a Raccoon as soon as I skinned it and it worked ok, I did have to go back over him after he was in the pickle.
