I am doing my first table pedestal mount and was wondering what is the best way to anchor the mannequin bolt to the artificial rock?

Drill a hole through the rock the size of the rod coming out of the pedastal. Enlarge the hole where it comes out and use a washer and a nut. Dont tighten to much or it will break.
