Will a Canada bears hair fall out because of the weather change in canada or is it slipping. When i pull on it clump come out but i see short there. It's down around the belly area or does this happen in bears. The guy went in Aug.

Hi Lisa,
Is the epidermis coming off with the clumps of hair? Belly areas are notorious for slipping but the epidermis will come off with the hair and look a lot like peeling sun-burnt skin. What you are left with is a slimy white skin underneath.
The bear may also just have some clumps of winter fur that have not been shed yet. If there is still hair on the skin after you pull a clump out then just comb the clumps out.
If that is not the case then you are just pulling the hair out. STOP THAT!

Thank you for the information. There is no epidermis on the hair. The skin feels slippy. I put no slip on it just in case. I can't what to see you at the convention. I e-mail you one time did you get it? You don't have to yell STOP THAT! Thats ok I'll take info. you have HA! HA!

Paul in August the bears will not have any winter fur on them.
