lesson learned

Well last night I started on a red fox. I had ventral cut this fox to hide the seam. Figured I would just cut off the 4 legs and insert one at a time......wrong! It was McKenzie's form with the front elevated standing on a stump. Well i learned that those support wires go way up in the body and the legs can not be just cut off. Soooooo i end up sewing up the ventral cut, making the loooong dorsal incision, mounting the fox and sewing all the way down the back. Made a 6 hour job out of a 2 hour job. LOL Live and learn.....I will know to plan a little better next time.

My saying is "The worse it hurts, the better you learn", but it's a lot easier to learn from other people's goof-ups! Thanks for posting!

Uh, mimes, does the word "hacksaw" ring a bell? LOL

I always use one either by hand or in the Sawzall to make sure I don't get any surprizes.
