Need Information from a Texas Taxidermist.

I recently had a person return from a hog hunting trip in Texas. While he was there he shot a bobcat. He had a non-resident state licence however the cat was not sealed. Where I live in Washington every cat needs to have a seal on it or I'll hear it from the game department. My question is does the state of texas require the sealing of bobcat pelts or not. My gut tells me that he left the state without having it sealed.

All bobcats have to be tagged from Texas Parks and Wildlife to be legally transported out of state.

All TX bobcats crossing TX state lines, have to be PERMANENTLY tagged with a tag you can obtain from any bobcat pelt dealer in TX. Without it is illegal to transport them across TX state lines, this includes finished mounts, tanned hides, and green hides.
