I have some bear claws that I was posslibly going to put on a necklace or some kind of ornament. Does anyone know how to clean them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why clean them?

If they still have hair on them, you can boil them and the cores will come out of the claws themselves. In that case, you can fill the case with epoxy and imbed a loop so you can hang them. Ideally, however, the claw and the last joint remain intact. The hair is removed with a scalpel and a hole is drilled through the last bone joint to allow a leather lace to be run through. The natural glue of the flesh drying will hold the claw on the bone forever.
