I bought upholstery paint at a local store. It worked great.

problem we had with upholstery dye was that it flaked off the skin when flexed.

Jonas sells a great product called hionis hide and hair dye. comes in a few different colors. just spray it on. works great. be sure to take a big wiff also after spraying for a great toxic buzz.
