dakota 4 flesher questions

Was thinking on purchasing a dakota 4 flesher mostly for small mammals
and a few deer. Was wondering if this is a good flesher or would bigger model be better? Thanks Bill

They are plenty strong enough for deer...even done a couple bears with mine...I`m like you in the fact that I do mostly small mammals...works excellent for the smaller guys too...if I ever push my deer business I will probably step up to the Dakota V just for speed purposes...

ditto

I agree,I have both the Dakota 4 and 5.The 4 is great for small mammals, but if you have a lot of deer to do ,go with the 5 ,it's much faster-I've had mine a while and I average probably 30 minutes per cape, and thats only because I go over the cape a second time to make sure she's thin.
