Can I resalt the hide after it has been in a pickle for a week or so. I have been pulling it out and fleshing for an hour or so at a time and then putting it back in to prevent more bacteria growth. But reading the search, I think maybe if I resalt again I can get that membrane and fat to stiffen up soI can flesh it off easier any help would be great on this. Thanks alot

No need the pickle should set the hide up for you.

the pH needs to under 3.0 so this will set the skin up if its a small mammal, you simply want to scrap it off. not thin the whole hide. You need to flesh the neck of a bobcat.
